Please tell me your opinions.

So my MIL owns her own salon and is known in the little town she lives in. She lives about 30 minutes south of Kansas City.

Anyway, so she does my hair and anyone in the family for free. Since it’s family. So I was getting my hair blonde at the bottom and it took about 6 hours so she was talking and talking and towards the end she made a comment and it was about this girl who has been coming to her shop for years and travels from KC.

She spends about 100-150$ every month to get hair colored.

My MIL made a comment to me such as “ before you came in Austin’s life, I had told this girl ( the one I mentioned above ) to get with Austin and what not.

Well, that part was like okay? Why are you telling me this.. then she proceeds with how the girl came in a couple days before I came in for my hair color and how she told the girl “ well Austin’s fiancé is coming in this weekend to get her hair done for free like always, this could have been you if you took my advice and hooked up with my son”

And after she told me this I was like shocked. It hurt my feelings but I didn’t say anything.

This happened on Sunday, so it’s been a couple days and it’s Still bothering me. I asked my mom and my sister if I’m over reacting or what they thought and they both agreed it’s rude and hurtful and it sounds like she was wanting another girl for Austin then me.

What do you guys think?
