Should i start pumping?

i’m currently 29 weeks pregnant and i have a lot of colostrum. if i don’t push it out it causes me to have pain, when i do push it out though it just comes and it doesn’t wanna stop. i was wondering should i start pumping or will that effect my pregnancy?

Don’t pump! It could cause premature labor. Call your doc and ask, but plenty of moms hand express colostrum into little syringes from the doctors office and freeze them. I personally waited until baby was born, per advice from MY doc. But every doc is different

100% NO. Do not pump before baby is born, and preferably for the first several weeks after so that your supply will become well established via nursing. You forcing it out is why it’s causing discomfort, leave it alone and let your body do its thing.
