My husband 😡🙄

How do I get my husband on board with a home birth? We have the space to do it and I have a midwife that’s amazing who offers the service and we’re only 2 minutes away from the hospital (that I don’t want to deliver at). He doesn’t care if it’s outside of a hospital but he just doesn’t want it to happen in our home 🙄 Anyone hit this standstill with their husband and managed to convince them?

Edit to add: he doesn’t want a home birth because he thinks the clean up will be too much. I personally plan to labor and deliver in a pool provided by my midwife on my back patio if the weather isn’t cold (we live in the south so it’s not likely it’ll be cold 😂)

Edit: yes we regularly talk with my midwife about the concerns, he’s definitely worried it’ll have to be done outside of the pool which I know there’s a chance of as well. He’s worried anyone of the mess containing way will not work and Our bed or something will get full of blood and fluids
