My BF can't have kids??

Question

I've been with this guy for 3 years, I'm 23. He got a physical recently & the doctor referred him to someone to get his balls checked out for possible infertility. (I'm on birth control so we've never had any pregnancy type things come up)
How would y'all feel if your bf couldn't have kids? But you've wanted kids all of your life & definitely still want to have them??

It would definitely be upsetting but if I really loved him and wanted to be with him for the rest of my life then we would look at other ways to have children. Where there's a will there's a way.

My boyfriend and I have already discussed fostering and adopting even if we are both able to have children and we both are on the same page so it’s not an issue. Since we both want kids and already know we wanna adopt, one of us finding out we can’t have our own kids wouldn’t be a deal breaker. I think as long as he still wants to raise kids with you then it’s not a problem, if he doesn’t want kids though then you two might not be meant to be.

I don't want kids and I love my bf maybe that's why this issue was never a problem for us but he always tells me this
You don't need a child to be a family.
But it is not selfish to want your own too. If you love so much, options are get donors to have you pregnant if he agrees. If not then you do you girl. I know most girls want kids and it's a do or die thing for them. If it's not for you then you have to find the right one.

I myself have had 2 miscarriages with my ex of 5 years. I was told when I was 20 that most likely o or the child wouldn’t survive pregnancy. I had my mind set I didn’t want kids when they told me that because I didn’t want to put myself through that. Growing up I thought by the time I was 30 I would have been married with 3 kids and a stay at home mom. I’m 41, clearly my plans were not what was planned for me. The guy I’m with now had a vasectomy years ago. He has 3 kids. Two teenagers and an older daughter. I’ve raised other people’s kids since I was 8 years old as a mother’s helper to my nephew that’s blind and has autism. He broke me of wanting kids in all honesty having to do that alone until his parents finally stepped up. He’s 16 now. I don’t mind kids or not having kids but that’s me. Adopting or surrogate or fostering or being a step parent or none at all. I’m fine either way. In all honesty it’s nice not to have to worry about pregnancy scares and miscarriages. I was open to kids after the miscarriages but am so glad I didn’t have kids with my ex or ever have to deal with him ever again. Blessing in Disguise now, then I didn’t see it. I’d rather devote my love to the relationship. And I have nieces and nephews to spoil and dress up and be their favorite auntie. Best part is I don’t have to be up all night when they are sick or pay for college or their wedding etc. I get to love on them and go home. There are many couples that would be amazing parents that could never have kids. Like my one aunt and my Pastor’s wife. But their life is busy and would not have time to all that they do if they did have kids. Everyone calls him for emergencies even if it’s 4am at the emergency room, he’s there for support. What’s that Disney Pixar movie UP with Carl and Ellie, he didn’t leave her when she couldn’t have kids. He loved her until the day she died. You make due and figure it out.

People keep forgetting that there are tons of kids that need to be adopted. I don’t get why people think they have to have a child biologically to be a parent
