When to announce

Just curious as to when everyone announced they were pregnant to their close friends & families.
I’ve seen people announce at 8 weeks and some not till 14 weeks. 
I kind of want to wait but on the other hand I’m far too excited to hold it in for that long!

My family found out when I did because I was in the hospital due to pregnancy related complications. I didn’t know I was pregnant and they were with me. The nurse asked them to step out and she told me I’m pregnant and I told them when they came back

I found out on a Saturday afternoon. Told my husband Sunday morning.... my parents and brother/sister in law Sunday night.
Told his family early that week and told out close friends within that same week.
I don’t like to keep exciting news a secret. 
Everyone I told, I would tell if something was to happen. So I’m not concerned.
Currently 7w4d. I won’t go public until after we know the gender.

We told my parents and siblings at 4 weeks and told my husbands parents at 5 weeks.
Telling very close friends this week at 6 weeks and announcing on social media on Easter at 11 weeks!

I announced to my mom at 6-7 weeks. My MIL and step-FIL about a week after, my dad and stepmom around the same time. And then on social media after 18 weeks. Lol
