Menstrual disc and traditional Mexican parents

So I took my disc out and wrapped it threw it away. Well our family dog has a tendency to dig threw the trash and take out tampons. So of course he takes out my disc(washed it before throwing it away). My dad picked up the mess our dog made. Sees the soft disc throws it away leaves for work. Calls my mom and tells her he found my diaphragm. So my mom walks in starts yelling at me why I have a diaphragm that it’s to not have kids. My parents are very anti-birth control because they think it’ll make you infertile. Tried to explain to her it’s for periods told me that my dad isn’t dumb he knows what a diaphragm is. So I had to show my mom the box. Call my 57 year old Mexican father and explain to him what a soft disc is....🤦🏻‍♀️
