Can the marks go away ?

My son’s hand got burn from hot tea 10 days back and the skin is peeled off now . Does these marks will go away or not? Too worried I am ryt now 😔

....that is a pretty looking severe burn on a baby, you need to actually take him in to be seen by a doctor. he has to be in pain poor thing

He needs to be seen. Burns get infected super easy and he probably will have scars. I got burnt on hot water when I was younger and have discolored scars now

That looks pretty serious. How old is this baby? I would be more concerned about seeing a doctor than about potential scars. Scars fade with time generally though.

They will likely fade with time. Hope the doctor gave him some nice things to help it heal, and hope he gets better quick, can’t imagine how much that hurts a little one.

He’s young so he will go through lots of skin changes but im sure it will fade but I don’t think it will completely go away. As I still have scars from when I was in elementary school visible. And I’m in my 20’s

Ahhhhhh! Please tell me you went to the DR for this!? They will give you some burn cream for it but it could totally be a scar now and not get the pigmentation back... this arm looks like a 5-6 mo!?

I have a big burn on my fore arm. At first it was terrible now people can only see it if I point it out. Just depends. You just have to wait and see what happens.

I’d put polysporin burn cream on it. It will help it heal nicer.
