Why did your first real relationship end?

Anyone want to share stories on how there first real relationship ended and how they dealt with it?

First boyfriend (on and off for a year) to be blunt was abusive forced me dk things I didn’t want to do and didn’t respect my and cheated on me with lots of different girls. First love I was too immature and scared that he would be like the last one and I was too overbearing I think but he never told me how he felt and one day he just kinda blindsided a breakup and started dating someone else after only 2 weeks of being broken up after a year and 4 months together (I don’t think he cheated I think he had probably met her while we were together but nothing happened till we broke up because I don’t think he’s that type of person but I don’t know for sure)

I needed time to figure out who I wanted to be as a person and find my own happiness. It hurt for me to end the relationship, but I knew I wasn't happy with myself and needed time to make it right. Plus it was unfair to him if I couldn't put my heart into the relationship.  Fast forward to me finding my confidence and seeing a future for myself. Not too mention being married to the same man I had broken up with. Sometimes it's not that it's the wrong person, but the wrong time.

My first real relationship ended because (1) he’d say he needed space so I gave him it but he would message girls online telling them that I was going to break up with him and then they’d message me calling me terrible things (2) he’d send me cropped screenshots of girls messaging him flirty/thirsty texts (3) he tried making out with me while we were in front of my dad and younger siblings (4) he’d always accuse me of cheating for no reason... so I dumped him and haven’t looked back

He was controlling,manipulative, mentally abusive and a cheater. The abuse got so bad I tried to commit suicide because I felt like i didnt have any other way out. I couldn't even tell my own father that I loved him,because I wasn't allowed to have any other man apart of my life. If I hungout with a girlfriend, he would call me and make me stay on the phone with him all night. He never trusted me. I never gave him a reason not to. He would party and drink and do drugs ALL the time. That's just a very little bit about him. I loved him so much because he was the first guy I had sex with. I had that connection to him and I felt like I was suppose to be with him.
My parents saw how bad the manipulation was taking over me. So they kept us apart. Him and I fought everyday. Nasty,awful words,calling me names.
Finally the last straw was the girl he cheated on me with posted a status saying "the things me and Lucas do at the pool lol;)" 
And I called him and told him I was done. He laughed and said "no you're not" I hung up and blocked his number.
Then my dad and I went out to Sonic for slushies..
Theres a lot more back story,but I know this was already too long🤦🏼‍♀️
We dated for 8 months. I was 15.
