Thrush? Or Something Else?

For about the past week, a couple times a day, I get this pain in my breasts that feels like a string is being pulled. Sometimes a long string, sometimes short. Sometimes it hurts more sometimes less. I've notice it happening during letdown most times.

It will happen in the opposite breast my LO is on.

Every search that mentions pain in breast while breastfeeding says thrush.

I see no other signs of thrush. No blotches in LO's mouth, I'm not itching. However, I'm not sure if the pain is the first symptom or just related to something else entirely.

Don't know if this helps, but I've always had a fast and forceful letdown. O read sometimes that can be painful, but it's been almost three months and this is the first time I've felt pain like this
