Ok should I take my baby to the hospital to her appointment at this time?

I kinda don’t feel comfortable taking her as her doctors is were there are tons of virus cases? Idk if I’m just being over dramatic or If I should feel like this? It’s just a check up but i don’t know she’s 4 months

I’d call and see if they even still want to have the appointment. All pediatrician in my area aren’t having appointments unless absolutely needed

My daughter is going to hers today. My pediatrician is only have kids 2 and under go to appointments now. Regular patients in the day and sick patients in the afternoon. They take temp at the door. You wait in your car and they call your cell when your appointment is ready so no one is waiting in the lobby.

It depends on where you’re at. Here, they are still doing all appt as normal and small babies/check ups are in the morning while sick kiddos go in the afternoon. If it’s still offered to you, I would go.

My son isn’t missing any important doctor visits at the moment honestly I checked in with my clinic they are screening every kid if they are sick or with a cold they are being put in a different section of the clinic . So honestly speak to your self office & I would definitely not be missing out on important visits. Follow proper hygiene and protocol ... good luck mama

I'm having this same issue. It's just a well child and I'll prob skip mine bc it's causing me so much anxiety that my meds ain't working lol

My baby has his 6 month appt tomorrow. We are still going. The hospital is screening ppl before they can even get in and using the proper 6ft away method between patients during the screening. If someone has symptoms, they go straight to the covid clinic and get further assistance. If someone doesn’t, they can go ahead to their appt. the pediatric clinic is specifically also limiting patients in their clinic. They are reducing face to face appts to well baby check ups for those under 2, and for sick children who absolutely need to be seen. Any other appt is on hold or is over the phone. They sit sick children and well children in completely different areas. So i feel very safe taking my baby. He needs his vaccines, especially now. But if they weren’t being as cautious id have to weigh the risks to the benefits. So maybe see what precautions they are taking

I would ask what precaution they are taking.  Our hospital/clinics are not allowing anyone with symptoms into the building's. Doctors and nurses are masking and using ppe at all appointments so its fairly safe
