Adult diapers?

Has anyone wore adult diapers after having a c section? Last c section I had I wore undies and the pads they give you in the hospital and it would shift, move and even get stuck together. Anyways I’m hoping I’m not the only one because if I get those a mess I can just throw them away instead of staining undies and making them gross! If you used them let me know what those you used and if not what is the alternative you used?

I used the Always brand Boutique disposable panties. It was truly the best thing. I wore 1 package of those and then Switched to normal panties and pads. One package lasted a little over a week for me.

I had my c section on the 14th and I’m currently in adult diapers. I’m not even bleeding super heavy but I just feel so much more comfortable that way. And when you’re recovering from a c section comfort is everything!! I don’t mind rocking diapers with my baby 😂

I’m three weeks postpartum after c-section. I’ve been using the mesh undies the hospital gave me and the heavy pads they gave me. When I ran out of the undies, I switched to FridaMom disposable underwear and heavy nighttime pads for a week. Now I’m using the FridaMom underwear with regular sized pads because I’m not bleeding much. Once I run out of the FridaMom undies, I’ll go to normal underwear if the waistband is low or high enough. The main thing is you don’t want something rubbing against the incision or the waistband squeezing too close to the incision. High waisted underwear is honestly best after a c-section.

In the hospital I used mesh undies and the big pads they gave, then once home just had on grannie panties and a maxi pad!

Highly recommended not using diapers. It was to much extra work to me to do that. I only had to use the big pads for the first week. Then I was able to use regular sized after.

I switched between those and big pads from either the hospital or the store that I bought. The thing I found with the adult diapers is that they weren't very breathable and I've got pretty sweaty in them at night especially when my hormones were raging and I was having hot flashes. So it kind of depended on the day.
