breakups during quarantine

i’ve seen a couple influencers that are going through breakups while in quarantine (they both live separate from their partners) and last night I found myself in the same position...

i found out that my (now ex) boyfriend cheated for what feels like the millionth time and i just gave up. i won’t be giving him another chance because i just don’t care anymore. it’s been 2.5 years of cheating, lying, manipulating and fighting just for me to take him back over and over again. i’ve lost a lot of people in my life because of him but i can’t use that as a reason to stay anymore. i’m still heartbroken, just in a different way then i was before. he’s still waiting and hoping that i’ll decide to take him back but i can’t.

going through the steps to heal and move on during quarantine (i’m with my family thank god but i still miss my friends and college) is going to be hell. i’m sure i’ll miss him but i need encouragement to stay strong. if any of you are going through a breakup during this crazy time my heart goes out to you. we will get through this together. feel free to message me or comment. 💞 any words of support are appreciated.
