Strong Opposite Opinions

So me and my boyfriend strongly disagree on whether the governor of our state is handling things the right way when it comes to covid. We are both pretty set in our ways and one of the reasons I was attacked to him in the first place is because he doesn't just follow when he thinks things aren't right, he has conviction, though so times I find his convictions illogical. Does anyone else have a large issue that you and your SO don't agree on? And how do you handle it?
