UTI and Pregnancy

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have a UTI (I took a home test) and called the doctor and they prescribed me some meds and I’m feeling better. I had 2 days of consistent uncomfortable feeling, and brown spotting, which made me test. I’m scared because I’ve been taking medicine for 4 days now and my spotting isn’t stopping, but no more pain. It is still only when I wipe, and varies from brown to dark red. Has anyone else had any experience with this? I have an ultrasound Tuesday, just really anxious.
