Baby bit my nipple and I need advice!!
So my 9 month old has his two bottom teeth, and a few days ago he decided to bite the fire out of my nipple. At first I thought it was just bruised like the last time he bit me, but then I realized it was a “scratch” and then the next day it hurt so much worse when he was nursing, so I examined it right after he had milk, and realized it was about as deep as half or more of his tooth. 🥴 and I’ve tried looking up how to care for a nipple bite, and I’m not finding very much. It’ll close up between feedings, and get filled with a white, almost yellow but not quite, sorta bloody pus, and I’ve been cleaning it out before he eats on that breast. So my question is should I be cleaning it out and instead just put topical creams on it? Because I feel like its healing PAINFULLY (literally) slow. Every time I clean out the pus, I use peroxide and alcohol and wash it with soap. Then I read somewhere not to use alcohol, only use peroxide, then somewhere else said use saline, and then put breast milk on it. But I feel like that’s keeping it wet. Idk😩 please help me lol 😅
