Teething or just growth spurt?

Our 9 week old baby is an overachiever. He was holding his head up the day he was born, rolled over at 5/6 weeks. Seriously strong legs. He hardly fusses, will only cry if he’s hungry or wants a new diaper. This past week he has been crying, chewing his hands, and drooling all over. I know it’s a big early but I’m wondering if it’s possible he is teething?

This is our first child so I really don’t know what I’m looking or feeling for. His gums feel hard but no spot in particular feels pointier. His temperature came up as 98.4 but I don’t know what his ‘normal’ is yet. It’s been harder for him to fall asleep all week and I feel like I can’t get him off the boob. Help? Thank you!
