Moving out of state and away from toxic family

We ended up moving to Indianapolis! We have one best friend here. My husband got a job making really good money and will start next week! We found a big duplex to rent. We are soooo excited for this fresh start! We are looking for free or cheap household items to get us going. It's scary moving to a big city and having hardly nobody besides us (and the best friend of course lol) I gotta find mom friends or something 😂 thanks for all of your advice everyone! My husband and our kids are moving out of state to Fort Wayne, In. Both of our families are extremely toxic and negative. We do not want to raise our kids around that mess. We know it's what is best for them and our well beings. However he works for a factory and they do not have plants up there for him to relocate with. I work in home health care as a cna and again the company I work for isn't nation wide so I would also need a new job. All the places I've contacted up there need income verification. We have savings to live off while we look for work but we don't want to be homeless. Are there any resources that would help our situation? We need to get away from the state we are in desperately.
