Moving houses with a 6 month old

Anyone move homes with a 6 month old who was a great sleeper, then you move and it’s like starting from square one all over again??? We moved yesterday and it was a really stressful day so i don’t blame the trouble sleeping but tonight, usually has no issue putting himself to sleep in the crib but is having trouble. We do our same routine, he even starts to fall asleep while having his bottle, as soon as he gets in the crib wakes right up and cries. I know it’s a new place new smells etc but does anyone have any advice??? I really want him to sleep, but don’t want to create bad habits. Do we just stay consistent and wait it out??
