Toddler’s mouth stinks

Toddler’s mouth stinks... we brush twice daily but it still has this faint smell. Smells like garlic and we do not eat garlic 😭 What else can we do? Please?

No swollen tonsils... I haven’t noticed any stuck food inbetween his teeth, but I’ll check well again...

How do you tell if a toddler had shoved something up their nose? He does not seem to be touching his nose to show distress and I can’t physically see anything in his nose.. what should I check for and how? He just turned 2 so he can’t really express himself well
