Have you switched to forward facing?

Not looking for any arguments I have just seen toddlers around my toddlers age and younger forward facing so don’t know if I need to switch him since he’s really tall and his feet seem uncomfortable

Its safest to wait as long as you can to switch them forward facing. My son is also really tall if he gets uncomfortable he moves his legs over the side or crosses them

I wouldn't switch him until he's 2! Thats the earliest I'll switch my girl.. look up reasons to wait facing forward you will find a lot of info!

I’m not gonna lie, he does sit forward because A. He gets carsick and B. He screams and cries the whole time he’s backward probably from getting carsick. 
So for the sake of not washing the car and car seat every time we drive more than 15 minutes and for my sanity, we forward face. 
I follow all the guidelines for his seat, keep his recline at 4 for under 40lbs, straps above shoulders, rear tether attached. He’s a pretty big kid and already over 3ft tall. I’ve tried a few times to flip him back around and move him to the window seat so he can look outside and it doesn’t help.

I have not switched him and the idea of it freaks me out alot! I have thought about it as I have a little one coming in the next month to 2 months. (My October baby actually turned into a September baby) however his safety is all i care about. I would never put him in harms way if I don't have to. We see too many reports of how children can get horribly or fatality hurt because they are not properly using their car seat so I rather keep him rear facing. For now at least. He is only 20 months and I can wait to move him.

Not anytime soon. He seems comfortable to me but the earliest is 2 y/o. I have another one who is in a carrier still at 9 months and not quite ready to transfer her to a big girl seat lol...

She is rear facing now, but I will switch her a month before 2 because that’s my due date for her brother. I have a car and I can’t have two car seats rear facing. One of them have to be front facing. In my husbands truck she is going to rear face at least until 2.

In my truck she’s rear facing, and that is our main family vehicle. In either one of my husbands trucks, with our spare seat it seems more secure to have her forward facing but we don’t take those trucks often. My girl is small, so I may even go past 2 rear facing

I switched mine a while back, because my son was throwing himself back and leaving marks on his shoulders from the straps. Australian laws are you can turn them from 6months.
