Birthday and new house
my baby's first birthday is coming up and we have invited some family to come by. My fiance would like to invite his uncle, the wife and cousin to whom he has very little contact with, which I don't mind. But my MIL said they would probably come by more so because of our new home we moved in.
I told my fiance, I really don't want people coming in and wanting a tour of the place. We are doing it outside in the garden and patio. I haven't been invited for a coffee to some of these people's homes so I don't feel comfortable. I'm not one to care to show off.
Am I being unreasonable?
Can you tactfully say no?
