Glucose Tolerance
So when I saw my Ob two weeks ago he gave me a lab slip for glucose tolerance 3 hours. I lost the script when I called back I was given another script but the doc on call changed my lab to a hba1c and fbs (fasting blood sugar) instead of glucose tolerance. He states he is the medical officer and I do not need a tolerance test if the a1c is abnormal then further testing will be done. Should I be concerned?
