Spotting 6 weeks pregnant

Hello everyone,

First time ever posting on here. I have been spotting on and off for over a week. My doctor had me go for an ultrasound this past Tuesday I was 5 weeks two days. They saw the yolk sac but wants me to go back Friday for a second ultrasound. I had dark red bleeding on Saturday night and everytime I go to the bathroom I have brown blood when I wipe. It almost soaked up the toilet paper, so I called my OB again and she said as long as I’m not soaking up a pad then it could just be my cervix. Has this happened to anyone else and ended up with everything being fine? My first pregnancy with my daughter I had no bleeding at all so I’m very nervous something just isn’t right. Thank you!
