Do all soldiers qualify for BAH?

Hi ladies,

My husband is an E-4 and we got married a few months ago. We live in Oklahoma, he is national guard, and his unit is about an hour away from where we live. We live 30 minutes from Fort Sill.

How does BAH work?

Do all soldiers qualify?

Would we receive it towards the house we bought?

Also, does pay go up when the soldier files as married?

I'm pretty lost on all the changes we need to make after getting married, and I really dont want to miss out on any benefits, so i would really appreciate any advice you ladies could give me!! Thanks in advance!😊
