We said it after 4 months! He said it first. I remember we were laying in my bed after putting my son to sleep and he said “I wanted to originally make this special and take you on a date and make it all romantic and stuff but I just feel like I don’t need to do all of that to tell you this.... but I love you”
It was perfect!!! Now we’re married!!!💗💗💗

My husband said it first and didn't even realize he had said it out loud until I replied lol. I wasn't ready at the time, it was pretty early in the relationship.

He said it after 3.5 weeks of being official. I knew he was going to say it first. He had been talking about having strong feelings, even though we hadn’t been dating that long. We had gone out to eat for my niece’s bday and he met my dad that night. Dinner was not what I expected, but then we went out for drinks to his favorite bar (the bar where we met). When the night was over, he slept at my house. We had been watching tv and fooling around. We kept making each other laugh - I realized how much I loved hearing him laugh and how I could listen to it all day. Like the song Uncle Jesse sings to Becky, “if every word I said could make you laugh, I’d talk forever.” And outta nowhere I heard him say “baby,” so I looked at him and said “yes?” Then he told me he loved me, and like an instant reflex, I said it back 🥰 once we said those words, we said them all the time. Even when we weren’t happy with each other. 💕

He said it first after about 3 months! Oddly enough, the first time he said it was during sex😂 I hadn’t ever been with someone who said I love you during sex at all-let alone saying it for the first time...but I’m here for it and I love that he says it. I’ve never been one to say it first, even though I definitely felt that way about him long before the three month mark. First time for everything 💁🏻‍♀️
