So my friend bd DOGGED her out her whole pregnancy, cheated, said he hope she dies giving birth an put hands on her an she alwayssss runs back, I’m tired of giving advice, helping her when all she does is run back to him an when he hurts her again she comes to me with her sad story.. at this point I don’t even wanna be friends anymore, would I be wrong?

No, what I learned from always being that friend that’s always there is that it messed with my mental health. It stressed me out, it made me feel upset, it was something I’d constantly think about bc I was so invested in the friendship. It’s ok to put yourself first.

I would be blunt about it next time she starts complaining about him and cut her off. Like well we both know you aren't going anywhere so im not telling you anything anymore. Sometimes that's enough for them to get the hint that your done listening to it and they just sound dumb at that point.

Not wrong at all. Nobody wants to keep dealing with negativity. You give advice & she’s not taking it .. friends get tired to. You want the best for her but clearly she doesn’t want the best for herself
