Is getting a Doppler worth it?

Yes!! My last pregnancy ended in a mmc at 12 weeks, didn’t find out until 15 weeks. There were 5 weeks between appointments and I was so upset that I’d gone so long not knowing, and even announced to everyone I knew, thinking the pregnancy was progressing when it wasn’t. This time I got the Doppler, and it has helped ease my mind in between appointments soooo much. I couldn’t find the hb until 10 weeks and there were a couple days in the 11th week that I couldn’t find it, but I’ve been able to hear it whenever I want the rest of the time, I’m 17+2 now. It’s especially helpful since I lost a lot of my symptoms in the second trimester, and I’m not really showing yet, so I start to question if I’m actually pregnant, lol.

For me it was 100% worth it. My husband hasn’t be aloud in any of my appointments, so having a doppler helps him feel included. 💗

Yes, absolutely a lifesaver for me!! With two previous miscarriages I was a nervous wreck, especially earlier in my pregnancy. Listening to the heart beat daily reassured me that my baby was okay. Now I’m 23+3 and listen to my baby a couple times a week. Still nice to hear even though I’m feeling lots of movement. I bought the sonoline b Doppler.

For me yes. But I had to do alot of practicing and I watched videos on how to tell the difference between you heart babys heart vains and placenta. It gets confusing when you hear both hearts and another beat at the same time. But after a couple times finding yours first then babies you can do it easier everytime.

It wasn’t for me until I finally found it lol before I could find it, all it did was worry me and frustrated me lol. But now that I can find it it makes me feel more at ease that there’s still a heartbeat.

I used one up until I started feeling kicks. It eased my mind. I only used it for a minute or less. My doctor said after 12 weeks he didn’t see an issue with it.
