He said he didn’t have time and we can celebrate this weekend. Yet he got home at 2:00 p.m. today. I’m trying to not let it bother me but it does.

Try not to have high expectations. Helps if there is ever a let down. Some years the ball just gets dropped and there are no gifts or even a date outside of the home. 🤷‍♀️

My dad works a lot and always had to work on holidays so it was very hard to celebrate or we had to wait couple of days when he had time so I'm use to it
So I personally wont care ya it will hurt but I understand if my husband was busy but he would get something delivered and honestly  those are the best ways to celebrate I'm my opinion

No I wouldn’t be upset. My husband and I always goes to the same restaurant every year to celebrate our anniversary. Sometimes their is gifts involved and sometimes not and it’s just dinner. I don’t get upset because just spending quality time with him is what I like better then any gifts he were to give me we have 2 kids btw so having that alone one on one time with each other is what matters to me most. But who knows maybe he does have something for you but I don’t think that’s a reason to get upset about.
