Almond milk ok? Help!

Hey mamas my son will be 1 on July 23. We are out of town and I forgot to bring his frozen breast milk that he usually gets every morning. Is it okay to give him unsweetened almond milk for 3 days? He would be getting it once in the morning per day. He can’t have formula that’s why I’m asking.

If he’s getting the majority of his nutrition from solid foods then alimony milk is fine. Like someone else said, you’ll need to make sure he’s getting enough healthy fats and protein as almond milk doesn’t have much of either. Also check the calcium content to make sure there’s enough there as well.

Yes as long as he doesn't have a tree nut allergy. Also be sure to supplement with healthy fat foods since almond milk doesn't have enough for baby's needs.
