Starting preschool at 2 1/2?

What age did your little ones start preschool? My daughter is 2 1/2, turns 3 in February. I think she could use the social aspect of preschool more than anything... but I don’t know if 2 1/2 is a little too soon and I should wait until next fall? I feel SAD thinking about putting her in preschool. Lol.

Edit: they have preschool programs starting at 2 years old here.

Edit again: By “preschool” I’m literally meaning two days a week, 2.5 hour sessions. Jeez, I didn’t realize how negative of a topic this would become.
