induction questions - please help

i have an induction scheduled for friday. i posted a while ago about the place im being induced at (birthing center, but my doctor is an actual md) having horrible reviews. at that time i didnt look at all of them but today i took the time to read quite a few and they terrify me.

thing is im going to be 40+4 the day im induced, and i am worried about all of the risks of waiting to go into labor naturally if for some reason it doesnt happen soon. but i really REALLY dont want to be induced there and im scared. i dont want to have a shitty experience and i dont want anything bad to happen to my baby - and some reviews said that they put their baby's health at risk.

im just wondering is there ANYTHING i can do to avoid this? can i get induced there and then leave and go to another hospital? can i go to the ER to get induced? can i schedule an induction with a random OB at such short notice? i know i might seem irresponsible but my doctor was so nice that i wanted to stick with him, but all of these negative reviews dont seem worth it to me. please, PLEASE help.
