D&C bleeding two weeks after

Hi,

I’ve had a D&C on the 10th, was told I bled quite a lot but felt fine immediately after surgery. Recovery was good, didn’t bleed at all except for a bit of spotting the first two days.

It has now been two weeks and I started brown spotting this morning. I feel bloated and like there is stuff going on, feels like my period, but I think it’s too early. I did read that you can have a first period without ovulating.

Could I be having my period only 2 weeks after D&C? I have an app with my GP tomorrow as a follow up. So will ask him, and will also see what happens with bleeding. Just hoping it’s not an infection.

Would be nice to start trying again soon.
