Induced?

Doctor is worried about high blood pressure. Might be induced in two weeks. Any tips or what to expect with being induced??

Depending on your body depends on what will happen for example I wasn’t dilated at all so had to start with cervidil then wait 12 hours and start pitocin. Good luck!

I'm not sure how they're doing everything with covid, but pack extra clothes. I only packed what I thought we would need and because my induction was at night we were there an extra night and ran out of clothes. Also, sleep if you can! Induction can be a long process and I remember getting my epidural at 3cm because the pitocin brought on such strong contractions. I slept from that time until I was 10cm.

Be prepared to just take whatever happens.
 I had to be induced and cervidil for 12 hours, pitocin for 10, and breaking my water and waiting 7 all got me from  1cm to a whopping 1.5cm. 
I wanted a vaginal birth, done quick and easy. I instead had a long and painful induction that ended in a csection because my water was broken.

Don't expect it to be quick lol. I was induced June 7th and didn't have my baby until the evening of June 10th! Felt like forever
