Bacterial vaginosis?

So I suspected that I had BV so I went to my OBGYN. he also said based on my symptoms it sounded like I had it. He swabbed me and I got my results today. It came back negative for BV and for yeast. I’m at a loss.

I have so much discharge a day I go through 6-7 panty liners a day. And I have a strange smell going on and we both thought that’s what it was. If I don’t have BV or a yeast infection, what else would cause this? There’s also some sort of build up that happens on the outside by my vagina. It’s like light yellow and it’s not crusty but not slimy either but it builds up on my skin and if I run my fingers over it, it balls up on my fingers (sorry gross I know lol)

Is there anything I can try over the counter? Thank you!
