Stay or go?

Having a hard time processing this. I think I’m still in shock. Feeling a little numb. But My husband of 13 years￼ Finally opened up and shared with me that he slept with seven different people and it was just sex. And it was a thrill for them. He said that he started about five years into our relationship and he stopped when we started have kids and then he did it one  more time last year. He said he would go to therapy. To work on it. Which I think would be good for him. I’m just not a percent sure if I should stay. A part of me does want to forgive him Nother chance and work on relationship and a part of me doesn’t. I kind of feel like he’s just gonna do it again.

I personally can never forgive a cheater. I tried. So for me, it is a no.  I think what you should do and i did this as well is go speak to a therapist. It helped me realize I wasn't being ridiculous on my thoughts and that my ex wasn't actually trying to move forward.

My thoughts are this 
1. Im mainly questioning about why he suddenly decided to tell you now. Is one of the people he slept with threatening to to you or something? Its just that he has clearly managed to get away with doing it for so long so why the sudden confession? 
2. If he can keep this shit a secret for so long what else is he hiding from you?
Id not be able to trust him any more. I agree he needs therapy but Id also be gone.

The part where “it was a thrill for
Them” just points to the fact he knew it was wrong and was chasing a thrill...so it’s a thrill to sneak around and hurt you without you knowing? That’s awful and downright cruel.

Take your time, it's complicated. The fact that he told you it's good but the amount of times he cheated on you it's shocking.. You have every right to have doubts and to be confused don't rush into anything, if you can go to a friend or relative and think it through alone,you'll find your answers.

I'd absolutely leave. My husband knows that cheating is a deal breaker. It's not an area where I'm going to give second chances, because that tells him that his behavior is okay. Your husband didn't do it once or twice, he did it a bunch of times and didn't tell you until YEARS later. That's absolutely horrible and inexcusable. He should absolutely go to therapy and get help, and maybe you should too, but by virtue of his actions I just would have lost all respect for him and seen him as a terrible person. You deserve better.
