Baby 3 dilemma

My husband and I have always said 2 kids before I turned 30 (was my goal) and done. We succeeded in doing that. I am now 31 with a 2 year old and almost 4 year old. But I’ve been having thoughts of baby 3 for like a year now. The desire just keeps getting stronger all the time. I didn’t even want to talk to him about it at first because I felt so dumb. But I finally did and I know he’s in a weird place now. He is giving it a lot of thought. I told him I don’t want to do it unless he’s totally wanting to do it. I mean hesitations can be there but if he’s only on board because he wants to make me happy then that’s not what I want. Anyway, it’s been a week since we talked about it and he basically said “I’m not totally saying no but I just...” and gave his reasons why he’s really not on board right now. I put on a happy face and told him not to feel guilty at all. But he feels bad. And I definitely just feel so sad right now. I won’t show it to him. But I do. Ugh. Any advice?
