Toddler has flat feet?

Hi mamas!
I will definitely ask at our next pediatricians appointment, but I’m noticing that my toddlers feet may be a bit flat? Has anyone experienced this? What sort of advice were you given?

It’s totally normal at this point because toddler feet still have fat between bones and their tendons and ligaments are still very flexible. Most won’t start developing an arch until 2-3 years and with a noticeable one not happening until closer to 5-6 years. If you’re concerned, you can try getting them to stand on their tip toes and see if you can see an arch pop out a little, but it’s still pretty early for our kiddos and not a major concern yet.

My son also. But he has feet like my husband—big giant flat feet with big toes 🤣.
So if you or your husband have flat feet than he could just take after one of you

The nurse noticed I had flat feet at age two.  Everyone took a wait and see approach which did not serve me well - too much waiting.
I’d watch for feet turning in while walking, standing equally on both feet and if he starts falling over more than other kids.  
And don’t be afraid to seek a second opinion.  You would not believe the crap doctors put me through.

My son does as well! I will be asking at his 2 year wellness check. His daddy has super flat feet too😅
