What are the signs of a narcissist man?

I was with a narcissist for a little over 3 years. He always made me feel like everything was my fault. That I wasn’t “wife material.” He never took the blame for anything. His cheating was my fault and whenever I tried to talk to him about how I felt, he would always try to make himself out to be the victim. It was never about me, it was never about us, it was ALWAYS about him and what he wanted. He wanted a hot and ready meal the second he got home. He wanted a foot rub the second he said it and whined until he got it. I never felt like a significant other or girlfriend... I felt like a slave. He put me through so much hell mentally, verbally, emotionally... I still thank my lucky stars that I not only escaped that relationship but that I found someone SO much better.

Narcissists be like:
-shifting between grandiose beliefs about themselves but rooted ultimately in insecurity and needing constant validation 
-inability to validate themselves, need the approval of others
-they shift between idealizing people and devaluing them. And this manifests in different ways- but it can present as them love bombing, being sweet, rushing into relationships or commitments, and then suddenly changing, to ignoring you, being mean, becoming abusive towards you, insulting you, etc. And once you feel ready to bail, they go back to being sweet and behaving very nicely, charming you, etc. And you let your guard down, they often immediately devalue. Some narcissists "discard" people they devalue, and come back, and leave, etc. It's a cycle. It always repeats. This is at various levels of toxicity. 
-they like things to be about them, and can get upset if others get more attention, easily jealous, sometimes they get offended you have feelings at all. 
-random outbursts are common from them, but I don't believe all narcissists are actually abusive, they are just more prone it- in my experience, it's definitely a feeling of walking on eggshells, they could just blow up and start an argument and get agitated at any moment, over the weirdest things
-manipulative behavior and gaslighting is common. 
-they cannot usually apologize sincerely, unless you are leaving. They don't feel comfortable ever taking responsibility for their actions. They will blame you for what they do. "Look how you made me act? If you didn't make me so mad, I wouldn't have to hurt you." 
-it is very common for narcissists to have some level of lowered or impaired empathy. I think low empathy and narcissism are spectrums. And they intersect often, at this point, I think low empathy in some narcissists is natural for them, and for others theyare emotionally impaired or repressed due to neglect or abuse in early childhood. So, it can even be a defense mechanism for them to dissociate emotionally, even if they do experience emotions often and empathy on some level sometimes. 
-overly concerned about reputation and image and how thing appear to others
-obsession with being special or elite in some way. Examples: "Im the most moral person I've ever met" "I have the highest IQ, I am a genius." 
-the aforementioned lower empathy can manifest in a variety of ways, either very malicious and cruel, to simply an abnormal reaction to a scary or dire situation, or an abnormal action or reaction to a situation. This is a bit annerving in a partner, because you don't really know how exactly they might respond during a traumatic event or when you need help. This also means, they can be impaired in terms of providing emotional support or completely resistant to engaging in emotional conversations. Or, they can engage emotionally about themselves, but mot as much others. 
I've known and dated a lot of narcissists, there's a bit of variety for sure. Narcissist or not, never put up with emotional or physical abuse. Learn the signs!

Stares at you ( you may think they are admiring you but it’s only to figure you out) 
Gets information out of you then uses it against you 
when they get a new supply they make sure you find out and post pictures on social media to hurt you to show you that you are nothing and this person who is unaware is just a puppet to hurt you soul they can never truly be happy and do not be fooled because it’s just a facade soon his new supply will be discarded like trash because no one person can live up to the fake perfection they search for 
If you don’t submit you are considered the enemy and they will do everything they can to get you back

my ex made me put his clothes in order of the way he put them ON HIS BODY, so when he got out of the shower he was all good to go. i also wasn’t allowed to eat or shower until he got home from work because he was the one who worked and “earned money” (fucking loser ass drug addict never had any money) always made me think everything was my fault so i was constantly trying to prove my worth to him like WORSHIPING this man and he still cheated on me multiple times. i was basically his side chick
