When does it get easier ?

I have a almost 9 month old baby. I lover her so much but sometimes I feel like I can’t get anything done. She’s very needy and doesn’t occupy herself for long. Doesn’t matter how many stimulating toys I give her. If she can’t see me it’s a screaming war. I’m tired. When she’s on my hip she’s peachy keen. Idk what to do sometimes. A lot of house work doesn’t get done until my husband is home or on the weekends. And I like to save that time for myself. Is anyone else dealing with this? At what age did your baby become a little bit independent?

- sometimes I will get a break when she naps for an hour at a time on a good day. And most of the time I have to force her to take naps which usually ends up with me laying down with her for her to go down.
