Light spotting 3 days before period due ...

I’m TTC with baby number one.

I am due for my period in 3 days and today I got some really really light spotting. It was only a few dots on the toilet paper and only when I wiped. This happened maybe 3 times over the course of the day going to the toilet, not on every wipe.

Is this an indication that I am getting my period? Or is there still a chance I could be pregnant?

I want to do a pregnancy test in the morning but I am sick to my stomach with worry that we missed this month again 🥺
