Insurance and fmla😓😓

So I've worked for my company for almost 2 years, have no problem currently qualifying for fmla leave. Now I am suddenly finding out today that as of November 1st, my office(out of 7 total) will be under new ownership. Now I'm stressing over whether or not the new owner will honor my job security after I take leave and am kind of considering trying to push to start leave by Oct 31st so that I will technically still be employed by the same group and just have a job at a different location when I return to work. Additionally I would have to switch insurance, which because of the way my prenatal appointments are set up would cause for my OB office to drop me. The lady who handles insurance paperwork even told me I would need to keep my current insurance and would have to pay out of pocket to keep the policy.
