Engaged fast *posted in several groups*

Okay so me and my boyfriend will be together three months on the 31st of this month, but we’ve been very interested in each other for nine months and we already live together because we lived over six hundred miles away from each other so we felt moving in together would make things easier.

Basically everything has moved at a fairly quick pace but in my heart I know that he’s the one. Idk how to explain it at all, but I just know.

Anyways he proposed with a temporary ring until he can afford to get me the ring that he actually wants to get me, so this is a temporary one. It’ll be awhile before we replace this ring. Also we decided to shoot for having a long engagement, so we’re not getting married anytime soon. We’ve talked about doing it maybe in the next two-three years? So we’re not rushing to get married. But idk if I should tell my family or anyone.

I’m really just scared of all the backlash, but I know I’m not the first person nor the last to do something like this, and I’d like some of you to shared your stories if you have one similar.

**I think I’m just worried because we’re still fairly young, like early twenties. And I’m sure as most of you know there’s the “you’re so young you have your whole life ahead of you, just wait a little longer” comments. But we’re both very sure of what we want. If I wasn’t I would NOT have moved my entire life over 600 miles away. Or I feel like some would think I’m making a vary impulsive decision. For example when I moved most of my friends felt like I was, but my family was very very on board with it. Idk I tend to over think things that I shouldn’t even over think about.
