For women who plan to be stay at home moms - when are you quitting work?

I plan on staying home and am high risk unfortunately so we will see what each day brings. I’m thinking around 7 months I will put my two weeks in depending on how my cervix holds up.

It depends. If you may want to return to this same workplace down the road, I would give much more notice than 2 weeks to keep the relationship as positive as possible.

If possible wait until you’re on leave and give notice 2 weeks before you’re supposed to return so you can receive leave benefits. I wouldn’t have been able to receive my paid leave if I quit before then also wasn’t able to take paid leave until baby was actually born so I used up my pto the week he was due (was a week late).

I answered first trimester but I actually quit in my second I think. I didn’t just quit because I was pregnant, though. I wanted to quit before that for other reasons, and being pregnant just gave me the extra push.

I work but plan to SAH. 
I just went out on maternity leave at 34+5 and will take my leave and then quit. All I have to pay back is any sick leave I didn’t earn so it likely won’t be much.
