Ovulating tomorrow and I wanted to know the reason to check tempature?

Good morning-

I just have basic TTC questions hopefully to gain more insight from women who have already experienced pregnancy and/or TTC.

What exactly is the reason to check temperature? How beneficial is it?

I’ve been TTC for 6 months and I’m hoping this month will be our victory month.

Also we are using pre-seed this time around, I feel like I don’t have that much Cervical Mucus? Have you tried pre-seed and what was your outcome? And for how long?
