Is 10 DPO too soon to test?

The tests say it’s a 50/50 it will be able to detect pregnancy but I haven’t had any PMS symptoms I usually have and I don’t want to let myself get too excited. I did test yesterday though and it was negative. Waiting is so hard!

I say too early. It is possible to get a positive test at 6DPO. The issue is you can implant anywhere between 6-12 DPO and then after that it can take anywhere between 1-14 days for HCG to rise enough to be detectable by ANY pregnancy test. After months of trying, I just waited for my period and if it was late would test to confirm. The anxiety of testing at 9 or 10 dpo, getting a negative then testing again at 11...then 12...etc...it was too much. I took it as a chance to practice patience for when I did have a tot 😋

Answer

Nope I took my first test at 10dpo and it was positive so it’s definitely not too soon. I used a Pregmate test, then later confirmed with FRER.
