Small nasal bone?

I went in for my anatomy 20 week ultrasound. The doctor called me at night a day or two later and said the baby was measuring with the small nasal bone. They said it was a Soft marker for down syndrome. I am really nervous about this.

They said it was isolated and nothing else was found, everything else looked good.

I just did a panorama(NIPT?) Today as we did not take one early because my OB said oh my previous bloodwork had been fantastic and I’ve had three healthy vaginal deliveries with children having zero issues between all of them.

I was kind of shocked when I got the call. Of course I would love this child no matter what, but it definitely changes the course of the future… I don’t want to get ahead of myself but has anyone else been through this?
