Spider-Man Isn’t Invited to the Wedding 🕸🕷

I came are across this article. A bride had chosen her nephew, who happens to be Autistic, to be the ring bearer at her wedding, but he now refuses to wear anything besides a Spider-Man costume.
If anyone has experience with Autistic children, they’re very set in their ways and disruption and change causes them so much stress.
The bride practically said he wasn’t welcome to the ceremony, only the reception, unless he wore regular clothes. Her sister slammed her saying she’s a bridezilla and *banned* him from the wedding and if she didn’t change their mind, her entire family wouldn’t be attending the wedding.
I can understand both sides. My brother has Asperger’s and we encountered similar routine situations when he was younger (he’s 21 now). I can also understand the bride’s side of wanting perfect pictures since she’s paying so much money for a photographer and it’s HER day.
If it was my wedding and I had a good relationship with my sister and her Autistic nephew, I would probably just allow it. I think it’s adorable and family is pretty important to me. I wouldn’t want to sever any relationships.
What are your thoughts? (Didn’t want to post the entire article in screenshots because it’s pretty long, but it can be googled).
