News of potential COVID vaccine right after elections

So I’m really not one for conspiracies. Obviously the election results came out a few days ago, and today in there has been major hopeful news of a COVID vaccine having a 90% success rate so far.

I saw a lot of posts people saying to watch how the covid narrative changes in the mainstream media right after the elections. And I thought “ok crazy 👀” but now just a few days later...

Could there be some truth behind this? If so why do you think there’s a link between the covid narrative and elections? Or do you think it really is just coincidence?

I genuinely have no opinion on the matter because I honestly know nothing about it, so I realise I probably sound really dumb lol. I’m interested to hear all your viewpoints on it.
