Age gap?!

For any moms with multiple babies, what is your ideal or favorite age gap? Or if you just have 1 what age gap are you all aiming for? All my siblings were 6-12 years older than me and I really felt left out while we were all growing up. But I also don’t know if I can handle another immediately either. I’m struggling to decide because my first babe took 3 years to conceive and I don’t want to start trying to late and end up with some huge age gap.

My kids are 2.5 years apart and I don’t like it. I would like a 4-5 year gap next time.

We have a 3.5 year age gap between #1 and #2 and there will be a 18 month age gap between #2 and #3. I LOVE the 3.5 year age gap so much...for us its perfect...I think because I know how perfect that age gap is, I'm already not a fan of the 18 month age gap...my youngest at the minute doesn't understand, I feel like she's missing out because I can't play with her like I should be 🤷🏼‍♀️

My son will be 17mos when we start trying in January. If I get pregnant the first month and don’t give birth early, they would be 26 mos apart. I think between 2-2.5 years is the perfect gap for us.

My two are 22 months apart and so far it’s going well. We are probably going to stop at 2 kids but if we did decide to have 3 I’d do a similar gap

I think there are pros and cons to all gaps. It’s harder having a small gap when they are very young but as they get older having a smaller gap is easier as they are more developmentally similar so can play games together, you can take them to the same movies, you can take them to places like the park and not have a bored teen sitting around while your 7 year old plays, etc.

My daughters are 17 months apart and I love it. They are able to play with each other all day. They get along really well and keep each other company.
