Blood???

Question

So, I was changing my 5 month old. She has been constapated for the past couple of days and I was wondering if her bleeding is normal from poop or if its even blood at all??? Idk. I am panicking. Im a first time mom with twins and Idk if it's their food or what making them constapated. They have both had problems with it. Also, any recommendations on baby formula. Would adding cereal help with it? Please please any advice or input will be helpful.

It could be from straining if constipated. You can always check with your pediatrician, but keep track of when it’s happening. Blood in stools can also be caused by milk/soy allergy. This has happened to my son 2 times though and both times he was straining to go. He’s not usually constipated and it hasn’t happened often, so I don’t worry too much. I put some Aquaphor on his skin and keep an eye on it. Always good to put a word in with your ped though.

She seems happy go lucky until it comes times for her to poo and then she getting fussy and upset and tries to push.  Bless her heart
